Does your neighborhood instill a sense of pride among its residents? Does it promote culture and vitality? Too often, neighborhoods are described using statistics (the good, bad, and ugly), but that doesn't tell the whole story. Learn how to create, share, and promote your neighborhood’s story through this interactive workshop. You will build upon statistical data about your neighborhood using narratives, videos, photographs, and other information that connects people to places and learn how to use on-line resource to store and share this information. Presented by the SAVI Community Information System, The Polis Center, IUPUI; Community Heights Neighborhood Organization; Department of Anthropology, IUPUI; Indianapolis Neighborhood Resource Center; and Department of Communication, College of Liberal Arts, Purdue University. Questions? Call 274-2455 or e-mail SAVI@iupui.edu.
