Event Description:

Participate in a community dialogue focused on changing perceptions of people with disabilities. Using a short film, we will follow the journey of four Hoosiers with disabilities and explore the issues they confront.

Following the film, facilitators living with disabilities will open the floor for discussion to create a community dialogue about these issues and their solutions. The discussion will encourage participants to be less hesitant to engage with a person who has a disability and feature ways that you can get involved. This is also an opportunity for people with disabilities to network and become more engaged within their community.
