Event Description:

Our bodies and minds are inextricably linked. The neurological connections in our bodies interpret our environment, create our experiences and ultimately define our lives.

As part of the J. James Woods Lecture Series at Butler University, Dr. Miller will examine the brain and aging, with a specific focus on dementia and the fascinating physical and chemical changes that cause this disorder. Dr. Miller links comprehensive patient evaluations to basic research in neuropsychology, neuropsychiatry, neuro-imaging and genetics. At the conclusion of the lecture, the audience is invited to take part in a question and answer session with Dr. Miller.

Presented by Butler University and University of Indianapolis, Center for Aging & Community. Questions? Call 317-940-6505 or email mhenness@butler.edu.
