Event Description:

2013 is the 100th anniversary of Indiana’s Great Flood. See the premier of WFYI's documentary When Every River Turned Against Us: Lessons from the Great 1913 Flood, enjoy the exhibit 1913: A City Under Water, explore the past and future flood implications, and learn how to mitigate the impact of such disasters.

Steve Bray, news director and chief meteorologist at WISH-TV, will moderate a debate on flood and emergency response preparedness in Indiana following the film premier. Panelists include 1913 flood historians, local government leaders and federal response coordinators from FEMA and the U.S. Geological Survey.
