Event Description: Fifty years ago, women running corporations, performing surgery, leading congregations, or interpreting law were virtually unheard of. Hear some of Indiana’s leading women tell their stories, explore the sources of their courage, discuss what motivated them to break down barriers, and share their perspective on the obstacles that remain for women today. will also address the obstacles and risks women face today, the glass ceiling which still remains in place and what is required to bring about transformation. A short theatre monologue, featuring Millicent Wright of IRT, about women and risk will also take place

Panelists include moderator Judge Sarah Evans Barker, Rabbi Sandy Sasso of Congregation Beth-El Zedeck, Myra Borshoff Cook of Borshoff, and Angela McBride, Dean Emeritus of IU School of Nursing.
