Art plays a vital role in helping people make sense of the unknown. Artwork by community artists and art therapists will highlight the power of art to advocate, illuminate, and heal within the realms of mental and medical health. The exhibition will celebrate art’s ability to give meaning to human experiences and create healing energy for life enhancing transformations. Tackling difficult topics such as death and dying, grief and loss, and depression and anxiety, the exhibit will also share glimpses into the experiences of those who have used art to gain control over life when facing chaos and turmoil. Panel discussion featuring artists, art therapists, and others using art in the arenas of mental and medical health on Monday, Nov. 6 from 4 to 6pm.

Walk-ins welcome, but RSVPs encouraged by Nov. 5 for the panel discussion.
