Tunnel of Oppression

Event Description:

Participate in a guided production that uses theater, film, and other creative means to highlight social justice issues.*

Back for the fifth year in a row at IUPUI but new to the Spirit & Place Festival, the Tunnel of Oppression is an interactive production created by the Social Justice Scholars, Resident Assistants, and other dedicated IUPUI staff and students. The Tunnel aims to highlight contemporary social justice issues and to introduce participants to the concepts of oppression, micro aggressions, and the “isms” faced by numerous communities in today’s society.

Experience open November 7 & 8 from 9am to 8pm and November 9 from 9am to 5pm.

Presented by IUPUI Social Justice Education, IUPUI Housing and Residence Life, and Sapphire Theatre Co.
