Kathleen Beck-Coon

Kathleen Beck-Coon, MD is director of Mindfulness at the Center, involved with CompleteLife at the IU Simon Cancer Center and has been teaching Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction at Indianapolis hospitals for more than four years. She is also currently teaching an interdisciplinary course on Mindfulness-Based Wellness through the IU School of Nursing. Her research interests are in evaluating how mindfulness-based modalities open-up healing for both caregivers and those they serve. Her most recent publication is "Compassion fatigue: a review of the research to date and relevance to cancer-care provider" in The Journal of Health Psychology March 2009.
