Jeffrey Kellams

Jeffrey J. Kellams, M.D, is a Professor of Clinical Psychiatry in the Indiana University School of Medicine and is the Medical Director of the Midtown Mental Health Center in Indianapolis.  He has been a member of the Indiana University Department of Psychiatry since 1972, and since that time has participated in numerous clinical trials involving antidepressants, antipsychotics, and mood stabilizers.  He has co-authored numerous articles revolving around these trials and has also spoken to professional groups on various topics of psychopharmacology.  At the present time as Medical Director, he is involved in facilitating further research at the Midtown Mental Health Center and is also involved in the education of medical students and psychiatry residents.  He is a past president of the Indiana Psychiatric Society and is a member of the Society of Biological Psychiatry, as well as a distinguished life fellow of the American Psychiatric Association.
