Reverend Barbara Child

Reverend Barbara Child currently serves the Unitarian Universalist Church of Indianapolis. One of the focuses of her work as an accredited interim minister is to assist congregations in living the principles of their faith, including honoring and upholding the dignity and worth of every person. She serves as Chair of the Unitarian Universalist Association’s Commission on Appraisal, which is the denominational “think tank” and of the Guild Steering Committee of the Unitarian Universalist Interim Ministry Guild. Before entering the ministry, Rev. Child taught English at Kent State University in Ohio for 15 years and later practiced and taught law at Golden Gate University in San Francisco and the University of Florida.
