Tamayo Fukumoto

In the summer of 2005, Tamayo Fukumoto moved to the United States with her husband.  For the past three years she has been employed as the Community Coordinator for the Japan-America Society of Indiana (JASI), facilitating the Society’s communications with the Japanese community, administering JASI’s seminars in Japanese, and coordinating the Society’s Japanese cultural events and many volunteers.  She handles information requests, both in Japanese and English, from JASI’s corporate and individual members and from the public.  Tamayo and her husband Greg Moore, a native Franklin resident, own Sylvan Learning Centers in Franklin and Bloomington.
