Fran Quigley

Beginning in August of 2009, Fran Quigley will be serving as a visiting professor of law at Indiana University School of Law at Indianapolis.

Currently, he is the director of operations for the Indiana-Kenya Partnership, a program of the Indiana University School of Medicine and the Moi University School of Medicine in Eldoret, Kenya, also known as USAID-AMPATH, that has grown to be one of Africa’s largest and most comprehensive HIV/AIDS control and anti-poverty programs.

He is also a poverty law attorney with Indiana Legal Services and columnist for the Op Ed page of The Indianapolis Star, the state’s largest daily newspaper.

Prior to joining the Indiana-Kenya Partnership in 2006, Fran was the executive director of ACLU of Indiana.

Fran is a graduate of Hanover College and the Indiana University School of Law-Indianapolis. Fran lives in Indianapolis with his wife Ellen and their three children, Sam, Katie, and Jack.
