Dianna Davis

Dianna Davis, MM, Indiana University, is a classically trained musician with degrees in piano and clarinet performance. While at Millikin University, she was the first student to ever win their concerto/aria competition on two instruments in the same year.

Dianna is the director of music at Unitarian Universalist Church of Indianapolis where she conducts the choir, plays piano for services and events, and coordinates all the musicians in the church. She is the accompanist for the Indianapolis Women’s Chorus and when not accompanying on piano, you can find her playing clarinet, djembe, or her accordion with the chorus. She teaches at Bishop Chatard HS, working with the band kids, and teaches privately in her home studio.

Dianna has recently discovered the joy of playing all varieties of music, written or improvised and enjoys playing with many music bands for fun. Besides playing with Thin Air, she plays with two contra dance bands around the Midwest and a traditional Celli band on her accordion.
