Kate Boyd

Kate Boyd is a pianist who has performed as a soloist and chamber musician throughout North America and Europe.  She holds degrees from Stony Brook University, the Hannover (Germany) Academy of Music, and the Oberlin Conservatory. As a Fulbright recipient she lived in Cologne, Germany for two years. Kate Boyd also lived in Dublin, Ireland for three years, where she was active as a concert artist and teacher. She has been a fellow at the Tanglewood and Blossom Music Centers as well as the Banff Centre for the Arts.

In 2009 Boyd received a Creative Renewal Fellowship from the Indianapolis Arts Council. She currently serves as Assistant Professor of Piano and Coordinator of Piano Studies at Butler University.
