Lewis F. Galloway

Lewis Galloway is the Senior Pastor at Second Presbyterian Church in Indianapolis.  He has demonstrated a strong commitment to mission and has developed many hands-on opportunities for community ministry.  Lewis is currently the Vice President of the Interfaith Hunger Initiative, serves on the Advisory Board of the American Red Cross of Indianapolis and St. Vincent Hospital.  He is also the Director of the Lake Fellow in Parish Ministry Program at Second Presbyterian Church.

A cum laude graduate of Davidson College in Davidson, NC, Galloway earned his Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degrees from Union Theological Seminary in Richmond, VA.  He also received a Master of Theology there after receiving the Walter Moore Fellowship for Graduate Study.  Fluent in French, Lewis has studied in France twice, attending the Universite Paul Valery in Montpelier and the Faculte de Theologie Prostestante (School of Protestant Theology) in Paris.

The Galloway family includes Lewis’s wife Eleanor Alexander (Bunny), who is an ordained Presbyterian minister and who works as a pastoral counselor.  Other family members are their daughter Allison and sons William and Robert.
