Joshua Henson

Chef Joshua Henson is a Certified Healing Foods Specialist and has worked as a fine dining chef for the last 13 years. In his 20 years in the restaurant industry, Chef Joshua has continually sought to refine the art of food and cooking as he knows it. This passion has led him to the healing aspects of nutrient-dense foods and cooking techniques. Dedicated to using good, clean and fair products, Chef Joshua seeks everyday to find local organic farmers who are doing it right. In 2009, he and his business partner Mark Cox, bought a small urban farm just north of Irvington and began healing the land to grow high quality produce to be naturally lacto-fermented. The products can be found at farmers markets throughout the city. When not working the markets, farming or gardening, Chef Joshua does private caterings, nutrition education and demonstrations helping people to gain the skills and understanding to provide them with a happy, full and rich life based around a diet consisting of natural and nutrient dense foods. In his spare time you can find Chef Joshua volunteering with the Weston A. Price Foundation and Slow Food Indy helping to educate people about local and nutrient-dense foods, reconnecting them with the food that they eat. He is committed to helping people build health through immunity and immunity through nutrition.
