Mark Cox

Mark Cox is a Certified Healing Foods Specialist working to help people understand the connection between food and health. He has been a restaurant professional for the past 20 years and has a deep commitment to quality food and an understanding of where food should come from. In 2009, he and his business partner Chef Joshua Henson, bought a small urban farm just north of Irvington and began healing the land to grow high quality produce to be naturally lacto-fermented. The products can be found at farmers markets throughout the city. When not working the markets, farming or gardening, you will find Mark working with the Weston A. Price Foundation and Slow Food Indy where he helps organize events.  In his spare time, Mark is available for private caterings, nutrition education and demonstrations helping people to gain the skills and understanding to provide them with a happy, full and rich life based around a diet consisting of natural and nutrient dense foods. He is committed to helping people build health through immunity and immunity through nutrition.
