Dena Bond

Dena Bond, R.D. has worked as a Foodservice Specialist for the IPS Foodservice Department for the past 8 years.  Dena manages the daily foodservice operations in satellite schools, performs nutrient analysis on menu items, oversees the USDA’s Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program in 19 IPS schools, and modifies menus for students with special dietary needs.  She also conducts staff training on topics such as food safety and civil rights.

Prior to her position at IPS, she worked as Director of Dietary for Brownsburg Health Care Center for 2 years.  Dena earned a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics and a Master of Arts in Family and Consumer Sciences from Ball State University.  While earning her Master’s degree she completed a dietetic internship program and earned her credentials as a Registered Dietitian in 2000.
