Catherine Johnson-Roehr

Catherine  Johnson-Roehr Catherine Johnson-Roehr has been the Curator of Art, Artifacts, and Photographs at The Kinsey Institute since July 2000. She has master’s degrees in art history from the University of Oregon and library science from Indiana University. As curator, she collects, preserves, maintains, and provides access to a unique collection of fine art, photographs, sexual health materials, and other artifacts acquired for research purposes. She manages an art gallery that offers three to four public exhibitions each year. She gives presentations to students and handles requests from researchers and the media. Catherine works closely with donors to expand the scope of the collection through gifts of artwork and artifacts, as well as financial contributions.
