Jane Gehlhausen

Jane Gehlhausen was appointed as Director, International & Cultural Affairs for Mayor Ballard in 2010. Jane is reponsible for advocacy and education here and abroad on the progression of Indianapolis as a Global City. She is also responsible for providing outreach and support to Indy's international and ethnic organizations.

Jane Gelhausen’s professional experience encompasses business and client relationship management including development of strategic partnerships in over 30 countries, collaborating with C-level executives, developing/negotiating international contracts, as well as leading and energizing global teams in complex project management initiatives.

She is a passionate advocate for creating global awareness as evidenced by directing the Indianapolis Sister City program, serving as Chair of the Board of Directors for the International Center of Indianapolis, as well as Alumni Chair for the Fishers Rotary Foundation, past Board President of the World Trade Club of Indiana and the American Lung Association, as well as serving on the Board of Sister Cities Association of Fishers and Partners of the Americas.
