Dan Cooper

Dan  Cooper Dan Cooper is an award-winning visual artist with paintings in corporate and private collections throughout the United States. Since 1986, Dan has worked as a graphic designer also providing creative services for photography, video production, website management, and more. He attended IU in Bloomington and the University of Indianapolis. He is an instructor for a variety of classes at the Indianapolis Art Center. Dan is an IDADA (Indianapolis Downtown Artists and Dealers Association) board member, chair of the Ethics and Fair Practices Committee, and editor of IDADA.org. He exhibits his artwork in local and regional juried shows and local one-artist exhibits. “My work combines science and art—especially astronomy and physics intertwined with faith and hope. Learning excites my imagination to transform aspects of theoretical physics into visual symbols. A Midwestern sensibility influences my use of landscape and human figures to express abstract concepts.”
