Michele Grossman

Michele  Grossman Michele Grossman has wide experience as a recitalist, chamber musician, and teacher. Ms. Grossman began her piano and violin studies with her parents. Later she studied piano with Arne Sorensen and violin with Dorothy Walker. She holds a Bachelors of Music in Piano Performance from Indiana University as well as and a Masters of Music degree in Accompanying from the University of Cincinnati-College Conservatory of Music. While there, she worked as a collaborator in the studios of Kurt Sassmanshaus and Dorothy Delay. Michele has enjoyed an active performing schedule as a collaborative pianist throughout the United States with instrumentalists, including her brother Eric, a violinist, and has performed on numerous subscription series as well. In the area, she has performed for Sioux City Concert Course and for the Sioux City Chamber Music Association. She has also served on the staff of several area colleges. Michele is a dedicated teacher and enjoys serving as an adjudicator for area piano events.
