Group: Trio Amabile

TRIO AMABILE, founded in 1993, has been invited to perform on concert series such as the Taft Art Museum chamber music series (1999, 2000), Sioux City Chamber Music Association, the Tippecanoe Chamber Music Society series (1997,’99,2002,’05,’08), Warren/Fountain Musical Arts Series (1996,’98), the Wabash College Visiting Artist’s series (1999, 2008). Concertmaster of the Lafayette Symphony Orchestra and assistant principal second violin of the Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra, Alfred Abel has performed as soloist with the LSO, the Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra, the Philharmonic Orchestra of Indiana, the Kokomo Symphony, the Anderson Symphony, the Carmel Symphony and the Butler Symphony Orchestra. Colette Abel, Assistant Principal Violist with the Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra and Principal Violist of the Marion Philharmonic has appeared as a soloist with orchestras throughout the state. Margot Marlatt, Artistic Director of the Tippecanoe Chamber Music Society and owner of Classical Music Agency, has toured with the New York City Opera and appeared as soloist with several area orchestras.
