Kristi Palmer

Kristi Palmer has worked professionally in the arena of digital collection organization and metadata creation since 2003 supporting the creation of faculty, student, and community-driven digital scholarship and cultural heritage collections. Her research interests include open access, scholarly communication, and Indianapolis history.  

As Associate Dean for Digital Scholarship she directs the Center for Digital Scholarship and participates in leading University Library. As the Liaison to the Department of History Kristi provides collection development and research instruction for those students and faculty.  She is presently the Chair of the Indiana Memory DPLA Advisory Council striving to further the development of Indiana's presence in the Digital Public Library of America. Kristi was name a 2009 Library Journal Mover and Shaker and most recently an Indianapolis Business Journal 2016 Top 40 under 40.
