Ted Polley

As a social sciences librarian, Ted Polley supports students and faculty working in anthropology, sociology, and economics. As a member of the Center for Digital Scholarship, Ted is interested in increasing access to social science research through activities such as archiving scholarly output in institutional repositories, encouraging data sharing among researchers, and promoting open access. He also serve as the government information librarian and the campus representative to the Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR). Ted is the co-author of the 2014 MIT Press book, "Visual insights : a practical guide to making sense of data."
