Sabiyha Prince

Sabiyha Prince is an urban anthropologist and community activist. She grew up in Washington, DC and has watched as the city has been transformed into one of the most expensive housing markets in the country. Her book African Americans and Gentrificaiton in Washington D.C.: Race, Class, and Social Justice in the Nation's Capital describes the increasing displacement of Black communities in our nation's capitol and the actions taken by local communities to fight back.
