Charlie Geier

Charlie serves Indiana Youth Institute as the Vice President of Impact and Data Solutions for IYI’s internal evaluation protocol, KIDS COUNT data products and services and IYI's outreach and advocacy efforts. Prior to joining IYI, Charlie served as Director of Early Learning and Intervention for the Indiana Department of Education for state and federal programs for English language learning, migrant education, school improvement grants, and early learning. A former K-12 teacher, instructional coach, department chair, and district administrator, Charlie has served on the multiple boards of directors and regularly facilitates professional development and presentations at state, regional, and national conferences with a keen focus on equity and excellence for all students. Charlie earned his bachelor’s degree from Indiana University and his master’s degree from Butler University.
