Meet Public Conversationalist Juan Williams

Juan Williams is a senior correspondent for NPR's "Morning Edition," host of "America's Black Forum," a political analyst for Fox Television, and author of six books. In a 21-year career at The Washington Post, he served as an editorial writer, op-ed columnist, and White House correspondent, winning several journalism awards for his writing and investigative reporting.

Juan Williams will appear with Sr. Joan Chittister and Angelo Pizzo at the 11th annual Public Conversation on November 5, 2006, 4 p.m., at Clowes Hall. Indiana author Scott Russell Sanders will moderate a spontaneous exchange between these three notable individuals as they explore the 2006 festival theme, Tradition & Innovation. For tickets to this free event, visit the Clowes Memorial Hall box office, Butler University, 4602 Sunset Avenue. Box office hours are 10 a.m.–5 p.m., Monday–Friday, and 10 a.m.–2 p.m. on Saturday. Group tickets can be reserved by calling Spirit & Place at (317) 278-3623.

On Monday, November 6, 10 a.m., Mr. Williams will speak on the The Changing Face of America-The Power Mix of Money, Race & Age in the New Century at IUPUI.
