Event Description:

Inspired by their bat/bar mitzvahs, five fifth-graders formed the band Creation with the mission to help create a more peaceful world and to educate kids about multiculturalism, tolerance, and peace. Profits from their first CD supported a school in Africa, and they have been featured in USA Today, Time For Kids, The Montel Williams Show, The Jewish Week, and other media outlets. Their Indianapolis performance helps kick off a new permanent exhibit, The Power of Children: Making a Difference. Call 317-334-4000 for free concert tickets, which include admission to the museum. Admission to The Children’s Museum will be charged the day of the event if you do not have advance tickets. See November 10 and back magazine cover for a related event. Presented by The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis and The Bureau of Jewish Education.
