Event Description:

Discover how outspoken New York writer Helen Hanff and Frank Doel, a London bookseller, carried on a touching correspondence for over 20 years in this acclaimed play. See how the art of letter-writing, an act of personal generosity, sustained them through the strife of World War II as well as many personal heartbreaks and accomplishments. Learn how you can transform lives, both here and abroad, through the written word. Local and international pen pal information and resources will be available for all participants. This event occurs on November 3, 9, 10, 11, 16, and 17. Refer to event date for times and locations. Tickets are $10; $8 for seniors and children.
