Event Description:

Using original songs, skits, and satirical humor, this innovative performing troupe will open your heart and tickle your soul on the closing night of the Spirit & Place Festival. One hilarious skit compels us to confront personal and corporate greed, while a spoof of the Indy 500 presents the perils of a “me first” perspective. Their humorous song “We Don’t Get It” challenges us to look at male/female relationships through a more generous and understanding eye. Headlines of the day become a satirical playground for looking at other-than-generous nations, communities, and individuals. Tickets are $15. Proceeds will benefit the Mar Elias Educational Institutions in Ibillin, Israel, whose founder, Bishop Elias Chacour, was nominated three times for the Noble Peace Prize. Presented by St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, Congregation Beth-El Zedeck, Spirit & Place, and University of Indianapolis.
