Event Description:

Rev. Jack Rogers, a leading evangelical scholar, will discuss his book, Jesus, the Bible, and Homosexuality: Explode the Myths, Heal the Church. The book calls for a more welcoming and inclusive environment for gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered persons within the Christian church. Roundtable discussions following the presentation will use the “mutual invitation” format, which invites all opinions to be shared without judgment or criticism. Participants will also have access to other resources/services, and will see an exhibit by Broad Ripple High School students who have translated themes of generosity in their artwork. Admission is free. Classroom resources available. Presented by Northminster Presbyterian Church and Broad Ripple High School Arts and Humanities Department.
