Event Description:

International performances, food, handcrafted items, Fair Trade information, and fun! The festival opens at 9:30 a.m. with a presentation by Jacqueline DeCarlo, author and Fair Trade program advisor for Catholic Relief Services. Learn about generosity within the context of Fair Trade and discover the value of purchasing fairly traded products that support living wages and safe conditions for workers in the developing world. Q&A will follow. Beginning at 10:30 a.m., browse international hand-crafted jewelry, woodcarvings, pottery, musical instruments, and more, and listen to performances by local student groups. All proceeds benefit international artisans and their communities. Admission is free. Presented by Global Gifts and Indianapolis Area Private School Diversity Consortium.
