Event Description:

How do teenagers envision a just, sustainable, and peaceful community? Local high school and congregational groups will share their imaginative and artistic visions with a panel of Indianapolis community leaders. Panelists responding to these presentations include Judy O’Bannon, former first lady of Indiana; Dr. Carol Johnston, Christian Theological Seminary; Keni Washington, managing director, Earth Solar Technologies; and Tim Nation, executive director, Peace Learning Center. Q&A with youth and panelists will follow. A public art table will invite participants to write or draw their own creative visions for the future. Local organizations working for sustainability and peace will be on hand to distribute information. Free. Presented by Christian Theological Seminary, Earth Charter Indiana, Improving Kids' Environment, Peace Learning Center, and Sierra Club Hoosier Chapter. Questions?
