This interfaith worship service will feature prayers for peace from the perspective of American Indian, Bahá’í, Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Islam, Jainism, Judaism, and Sikhism. Presenters from each tradition will raise their voices in common worship through songs, meditations, dance, poems, or stories, and the Marian College Chamber Singers will perform. Keynote speaker Dr. Vimal Patel, Hindu Temple of Central Indiana, will dare us to imagine a new world of toleration, hospitality, and peace, achieved through formal prayer and prayer-in-action. Also, learn about other opportunities for interfaith sharing and local prayer-in-action projects after the service. Free. Presented by Marian College and Peace Learning Center. Questions?
