Slow and unconventional movements, shadowplay, and live music combine in a cross-cultural performance that draws on both the modern Japanese performance art of Butoh and the place-based writings of William Faulkner. Choreographer and dancer Oguri created this darkly evocative work. University of Illinois professor David Goodman, historian of Japanese theater, will introduce the performance.  Presented by Indianapolis Museum of Art.  Questions?
