Cathy Alley

Cathy Alley attends Epworth United Methodist Church and is proud to be a two-year member of the Epworth Stitchers. Having learned to crochet from her mother and to knit from a family friend, Cathy enjoys knitting and crocheting prayer shawls and baby blankets for the Stitchers. Fond memories of her grandmother's knitting projects and the love poured out from them over the years fuels her desire to pass along the healing powers of the projects. Cathy shares her love of knitting with her seven-year-old daughter Bethany, who has been knitting since she was four years old. She is an assistant Brownie scout leader and is active in her church as a choir member. Cathy and her husband, Rick, have five children. She works as an administrative assistant for RGIS Inventory Specialists. Cathy coined the Epworth Stitchers’ motto: “Spreading God's Love One Stitch at a Time.”
