Elizabeth Brown

Elizabeth Brown is a graduate of Indiana University School of Nursing and has been a professional nurse for many years. Throughout her professional career she has come to know many of the problems and concerns of our community and has used her volunteer activities to try to address some of them.

She has been a community volunteer and activist for over 30 years. Through volunteering and/or board service with the American Cancer Society, the Zonta Club of Indianapolis, Freetown Village, and Bridging the Gap, Inc., she has shared her time and talents with others.

Through her participation in Bridging the Gap, Inc (a local not-for-profit promoting interfaith dialogue among Christian, Jewish, and Muslim communities), Ms. Brown has gained knowledge and understanding of other Abrahamic faiths and shared her values and beliefs with others.
