Rabbi Lew Weiss

Born in Philadelphia, PA, Rabbi Lew Weiss attended Cheltenham High School and Penn State University. He was ordained at Hebrew Union College in Cincinnati and received masters degrees from Rutgers University and University of Cincinnati. As a Board Certified Chaplain with National Association of Jewish Chaplains and Association of Professional Chaplains, Mr. Weiss works for Clarian Health at Methodist Hospital.

Rabbi Weiss serves as a volunteer for many community organizations including police and fire departments, the Red Cross, the airport, and Mental Health America/Greater Indianapolis Crisis and Suicide Intervention Service.

Rabbi Lew Weiss has been married to Rabbi Faedra Weiss for 27 years and they have three daughters. They are members of Beth-El Zedeck and Indianapolis Hebrew Congregation and serve together in different capacities in the Jewish community and on several community boards.
