Eileen Ryan

Eileen Ryan, in her role as Program Director for the Youth Philanthropy Initiative Indiana (“YPII”), serves as the principal contact and statewide coordinator for this unique collaborative of 40+ community organizations.  Eileen brings to this position a broad base of philanthropic experience having served 15+ years as a Program Director and Secretary/Treasurer for the Moore Foundation, a private foundation, based in Indianapolis that had a focus on youth programs.

This experience in philanthropy led Eileen to establish her own consulting firm that provided management-related assistance to a variety of philanthropic-oriented organizations such as the Indiana University Center on Philanthropy’s “Learning To Give-IN” program and the Indiana Grantmakers Alliance.

Eileen has been involved with YPII in various roles since the beginning of the concept in early 2001, including serving as Chair of the original Partner Network. In January, 2003, the Indiana Grantmakers Alliance offered Eileen the opportunity to become part of the IGA organization and provide full-time leadership for YPII as its Program Director. As Program Director, her responsibilities include oversight for the strategic, operational and promotional functions of the Initiative.
