Didier Gondola

Mr. Didier Gondola is an associate proffessor of history at IUPUI and chairs the African and African American Studies committee. His academic interests include Colonial Africa, African Diaspora, popular culture, and gender and urban issues in west and central Africa. He is the author of Mirror Cities: Migrations and Urban Identities in Brassaville and Kinshasa (Paris: l'Harmattan, 1997) and The History of Congo (Greenwood Press, 2002), along with numerous journal articles and book chapters. Didier and his family live in Indianapolis and he is a founding member of Midwest Voices For Congo
