Delve into the relationship between art, design, and the history of automobiles at this family friendly event!
Indiana has a rich and relevant automotive history. Both the past and the future will be showcased during this event as Ivy Tech Community College students and faculty, as well as automotive designers. discuss their work and families are invited to design cars of the future. There will be a "car parade" for young children, a virtual engine building competition, and various art-making activities including a printmaking project using car parts and tires for the printing process.

Walk-ins welcome, but RSVPs strongly encouraged to ensure enough supplies are available for some activities.
Presented by Ivy Tech Community College, Ivy Tech Automotive Garage, Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum, Social Sketch Indy, and Marian University.
Award of Awesomeness
Explore Art-omotive! is one of five events nominated for an Award of Awesomeness! These events use the arts, humanities, and/or religion in unique ways to explore the INTERSECTION theme and have the potential to be true standouts. The winner will receive a $1,000 prize that will be announced at the conclusion of the Public Conversation on Sunday, November 11 at the Indiana State Museum.
